To be a writer is a privilege. That’s the way we look at it. It’s not just a means to an end. It’s part of who we are. Perhaps only writers can fully understand that thought, but the benefit to you is great.
We carefully craft words. At the same time, we’re also accustomed to working under very strict, tight deadlines, so know how to produce something quickly. Adding community building augments the writing. We are experts in communicating in the written form and can interact with customers in that manner – which is what online social media is about. It’s face-to-face, but not in person. We know how to maneuver online.

Owner, Community Manager, Writer Julie is an award-winning writer who has focused on building a community for nearly two years (having started in April 2009). She manages the online presence for 2moroDocs, which includes a blog, Twitter feed, and Facebook page. She is also the moderator and community manager of #tcchat, a Twitter chat for technical communicators. She also has many years of experience as a technical writer, so has expertise in organizing and presenting information and content in a clear, concise manner. Her technical writing work has focused primarily on software documentation for both general and technical users, and she is interested in applying new methods to doc sets. Joanne Skirving |
Writer, Community Manager Joanne is an experienced technical writer who has a background in writing and managing websites for medical facilities and non-profit organizations. She has experience in instructional design, scriptwriting for video and web-based training, grant research, and writing successful grant applications. She specializes in non-profits, but also has experience in business communications for banks and insurance companies, and benefits publications for Medicare and Medicaid members and providers. Joanne administers the Rachel’s Friends Breast Cancer Coalition and Zonta Club of Portland, OR Facebook pages and the accompanying Twitter accounts for those organizations. |
