Need words? Blogs? Tech docs? We've got them.

Welcome to our site. We produce, collect, and organize words in various ways. Such is the life of writers. Be it some documentation for an application, website content, or any writing project, we can analyze your company’s writing needs and craft a customized solution. We absolutely stay current with technologies to provide these core services:

- Technical Writing
- Blogging
- WordPress Website and Blog Development
- Social Media

These items are closely related, even though they may not seem so at first glance. All writing is online, so web design and development is one piece of that. For it’s not just how you organize and write material, it’s also how you display it. Social media is also part of everything now, so that is one more critical piece. Quick thoughts on each of these are included in the posts below.

Thoughts on the future of technical writing are on my 2morodocs blog and included in the Twitter feed included on the sidebar.

. . . . .

If you have a writing or website development project, or are wondering about use of social media in your company, we’d be interested in discussing it with you.

Thank you!

WordPress Websites & Blogs

WordPress is an open-source platform used to create websites. It provides a comprehensive toolkit upon which to build sites, and is used extensively on the web. There is a world-wide community of developers that support it as well. If you’re building a site, use of WordPress is an excellent option to consider. We can create a WordPress site for you, and assist with content analysis and creation.

We use StudioPress themes as a basis for websites, and customize them for each client.

Social Media

Wondering how to use Twitter and Facebook for your company – or if you should even consider it? You’re not alone. Both are being used extensively for business purposes. There are benefits to both as well as concerns – and that is why it is imperative that your company at least finds out more about how social media works.

Bottom line: by all means, consider using social media. It’s not going away, and could help your business. If nothing else, your company would look current and fresh – one that keeps up with change instead of stagnating.

Our Background

We’ve been at this since May, 2009. There is much involved in maintaining an online presence. Twitter and blogs require constant updating and attention. Plus, social media is fluid. It is constantly changing. It’s imperative to keep up with developments. For instance, two recent changes in Twitter alone in the last few weeks include addition of a new geography feature and inclusion of advertising. We stay on top of all of this so you don’t have to.

Technical Writing

Technical writing is a specific field of writing that has its own rules and methodologies. It differs tremendously from journalism, creative writing, and other such specialties. Within the tech writing field itself, there are specialized areas such as software documentation and medical writing.

Our focus is on technology and software documentation. As part of that, we are necessarily familiar with functions such as web design and programming, basic database design, and usability. These are building blocks of the work. You don’t just sit down and write. There’s much that you need to know and analyze before beginning to write. Details about these aspects of tech writing and what we provide can be found on the Services page.
